Late in the second quarter of Game 1 after Fred VanVleet picked up his second foul, LeBron James gave him a little extra shove, which Van Vleet and the rest of the Raptors didn’t appreciate.
The result was a small exchange of words between the captain of Toronto’s “Bench Mob” and the league’s biggest star.
No technical fouls were assessed, but the message was sent — the Raptors aren’t going to be pushed around this time.
Gotta love playoff basketball.
