With all nine movies being available to play in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, players can take on the expansive Star Wars story in whichever order they see fit. The episode select screen allows players to pick which movie they want to play through first, with each option illustrated by a diorama that features a famous moment from the movie it represents. Many LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga players have found these dioramas to be a unique and interesting way to select a level. One fan liked them so much they’ve decided to recreate the in-game dioramas in real life, starting with the piece for Episode 2: Attack of the Clones.

The diorama for Episode 2 in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga features one of the more recognizable scenes from the film, showing Obi Wan Kenobi chasing after the bounty hunter Jango Fett. With a circular base modeled after the architecture seen on Kamino and the famous ship Slave 1 hovering above, there are plenty of cool features in this diorama and its real-life reproduction, which almost perfectly recreates the in-game LEGO structure. Only the hovering elements found in-game have been given bases underneath, and it appears that Boba Fett is missing too. This may be a slight disappointment for some fans, especially after being reintroduced to the bounty hunter in the Book of Boba Fett TV show.

Fans were quick to praise the diorama recreation, with many enjoying the nod to all the references found in both Episode 2 and the entirety of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. As with most LEGO games, the latest LEGO Star Wars title shows a great love for the source material, though the developers were not afraid to make plenty of jokes regarding the movies as well. One controversial moment from The Last Jedi has been featured as a running joke in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.

It seems that LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has come at the perfect time for many fans of both LEGO and Star Wars. The game has proven to be incredibly popular in the days since its release, topping Steam’s player records in both the LEGO and Star Wars categories, showing the power of nostalgia for fans of the older LEGO Star Wars titles.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
